Oh Boy, More Crap

Let's take a look at, among other things, one of Manny's recent videos called, "The Shooting of Wendy Savino-Clearing Up Fact from Fiction."

New York's Finest?

1:17

“I want to particularly shout out Sal Greco, ex-NYPD, who got in touch, apparently a longtime viewer first time commenter, and, uh, he thinks that, uh, Berkowitz did this. He's on board 100 percent."

"So I was on his show the other day on Twitter we had we had a nice time."

As you can imagine it was a disaster, this interview. Manny's presentation was so compelling that people started calling in to discuss other topics. You can't even find a link to it on Manny's social media.

But when I heard the description, "ex-NYPD," it occurred to me that Manny sure does get a lot of continued support from ONE group in particular: ex-law enforcement. And none of them ever get thrown under the bus the way so many of his former co-conspirators have.

So let's see... Jason Goodman, Eric Galati, Neo, Carl Denaro, Craig FitzGerald...what do they all have in common? Two things. One, Manny has burned every single one of those bridges to the ground. Two, none are law enforcement, ex or otherwise.

And what's more, from what I've been told (and seen) Manny's staunch law enforcement bros are not exactly a bunch of Serpico's, if you catch my drift.

With this in mind, consider the following:

1:01:20

Michael Corbin: "How has this affected you? I mean you put a lot of years into this."

Maury Terry: "I've done a lot of other things too, thankfully. I mean, from '88 to '93 I was, basically, had nothing to do with the investigation..."

Michael Corbin: "Has this changed you in any way?"

Maury Terry: "I think it's made me much more cynical because I now have virtually no trust in the powers that be. I see the lies that are told every day and I see how cover-ups work and, I don't have a lot of respect for law enforcement in general."

"Lord knows there are a lot of great cops out there and a lot of great detectives but...there's a lot of real incompetence in law enforcement also, and once you get to the higher levels of it where it becomes political..."

Is this it? Is this, and similar comments from time to time when asked, the root cause of a three year smear campaign? Because one guy, Maury, didn't trust the police, "New York's Finest" in particular?

Yet somehow I suspect there's more to it than that. We're allowed to ask questions, right? Because over the years, Manny has asked questions like, was Maury molested? Did Maury write TUE as revenge? Did he write the Son of Sam letters?

The Netflix documentary ensured there would be a lot more eyes going over the case. Therefore maybe, just maybe, there's a thing or two still lurking in the shadows that some people out there do not want to be held accountable for? Just a thought.

Walter "Ace" Brown Enters the Chat

 4:57

"You have his [Maury Terry] myth as well, and that myths is, well, that an international cult of Satanists and people committing Druidistic activities in the woods of Untermyer Park, and with children that they're trafficking with Ace Brown from 42nd Street because Rothstein said so… and international elitists are partying with Berkowitz and they all came together to decide to shoot people…"

I'm glad Manny brought up Walter "Ace" Brown. This gives me an opening to speak about Maury Terry's files, files Manny does not want people looking at without his direct interference.

These notes were compiled from tape recorded conversations between Ret. Det. Jim Rothstein and child preditor/police informant Ace Brown in December of 1996.

For those who don't necessarily study the Son of Sam case obsessively, below is an article that provides a good thumbnail sketch of Ace:

 And another from Maury's notes:

And now here are some highlights from the above mentioned conversation between Ret. Det. Rothstein and Ace ("DB" is David Berkowitz, John was a man by the name of John DiFrenza):

So we have informant Ace not only placing David Berkowitz in the middle of cult activity in Untermyer, but Ace's roommate helped himself to some of David's mail? One can only wonder why that mail needed to be disposed of - who was it from, what did it say, etc.

 More from Maury's notes:

Why Manny insists on making light of all of this is a question best addressed by mental health professionals.

The Shooting of Wendy Savino

6:31

"I actually truly believe, and I'm only speaking for myself here, that Wendy Savino is, is a victim of Son of Sam David Berkowitz. In fact, today, we are going to be talking about the Wendy Savino shooting, separating fact from fiction."

Here we go.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Wendy Savino case, it goes like this:

Wendy was shot in an enclosed parking area around 11:15pm on Friday, April 9, 1976. The assailant used a .32 caliber pistol and was seen fleeing with two other men. The night of the shooting, Wendy gave the description of an Italian man in his 30's with dark, combed-back hair and a widow's peak who smiled and laughed.

Reminder: David didn't own a .32.

Also, none of the Son of Sam shootings took place inside enclosed areas.

Plus! None of the SOS surviving victims reported laughter.

And let's not forget, David would have been in his early 20's at the time and did not have a widows peak. At any point. No pun intended.

If Wendy was in her car, looking upwards at the shooter, how is she going to make out a widows peak where one DOES NOT exist?

And now for some excerpts from Manny's recent appearance on the What's-his-face show:

 14:21

"...we [Manny and Mike Lorenzo] found the DD5 [Savino report]..."

Here it is. And I want you to pay attention to what is not mentioned in either the DD5 or the sketch.

Because when you don't pay attention to every little detail, Manny gets away with saying shit like this:

29:55

"Look at the description: male, white, 5'9, 160 pounds, late 20s, curly, dark hair, mod style, clean shaven. In Savino, it's male, white, 30s, 5'9, 160. Exact, almost the exact same description. 5'9, 160, late 20s, curly hair."

"Now, we didn't get the blue eyes in this, in the Lauria sketch, but we did get the blue eyes in the Savino sketch."

We didn't get the blue eyes anywhere period except  48 years after the fact when "brave" Wendy, bypassing all other avenues, decided to accuse David Berkowitz of shooting her on what many of us consider to be some YouTube shitshow.

Sketchy

Manny had this to say while discussing the Savino police sketch:

17:18

“… except she said that there was an error here, she said that the, the the cheekbones should have been in a little bit more; let's look at burkowitz, yeah is his cheekbones go in.”

Then the sketch artist would have made the cheeks go in.

18:54

“…and remember, Savino wanted the nose thinner…”

Then the sketch artist would have made it thinner.

You, me, and everyone else but Manny understands that sketch artists are only as good as the descriptions they're given. Sketch artists do not have the luxury of arguing with the witness or stopping when they feel like what they have is good enough. Duh.

Dave's Arsenal

31:38

“…we're confronted with the reality which was that he [Berkowitz] was, he had an arsenal when they caught him- rifles, scopes, shotguns, so you have to think outside the box and Son of Sam, the media created the .44 caliber killer.”

So? Seriously. There was no .32, no .32 ammo in David's possession at the time of the arrest.

At one point Manny reads a letter David wrote to a friend where he discussed buying guns out of state.

How is this relevant? It's not. David is talking about buying a shotgun. Those are different from .32's.

33:41

"So isn't this interesting, he's talking about buying pistols in Louisiana and shipping them up to New York."

He's talking about buying a shotgun and letting his friend know they have pistols.

You know how Maury gets accused of jumping to conclusions? Wow, that's exactly what he have going on here!

Urine Trouble

You may be saying to yourself, "Nathan, Manny is off on a tangent, chasing shadows in a completely unrelated case. Isn't this what you would want? What's the problem? And also, you're really handsome and funny."

I would love to let Manny enjoy his little boondoggle! I really would. The problem is he's using it to try to make a jerk out of Maury, just like he does everything else.

39:46

"I mean, Maury Terry was sick man who was obsessed with urine drinking, manure, vomit. This guy was a a very spiritually sick person."

May I remind the audience that Manny's heroes brought that nasty stuff up, not Maury.

Was Maury not supposed to report on it?

But there's something else at play here. According to Manny, (all the time!!) Maury talked about urine drinking all the time. Yet it's Manny who brings it up every chance he gets, often out of the clear blue. Personally, I think it has everything to do with that one time when his hero John Carr drank urine.

That has to be embarrassing for a guy who is trying to exonerate someone, so he tries to make it Maury's problem.

Maury didn't drink piss and shoot people, he simply reported on folks who drank piss and shot people.

That's all I have for now. After watching and listing to so much of this hooey I need to go to the nearest pond and watch baby ducks or something.

But one last thing before I go. Did anyone ever see Maury make a face like this while he explained his theories:

5:04

I love this crowd!!

  3. Galati might not be law enforcement, however, are we sure he isn't associated with the police or even intelligence? He sure knows a lot of cops, some prominent in this case and/or in intelligence, e.g., Jim Rothstein and Hank Cinotti. And he is merely a B movie actor? Right? Galati also had political aspirations. He ran for New York's 20th Assembly District in 1989. Everywhere he goes, drama and chaos ensues. His most recent debacle with Dana is also very suspicious. Maybe he has good intentions, but he seems to cause more conflict and confusion than progress and insight.

    1. Initially I think not intelligent enough for intelligence but dang he is one helluva tool, so MAYBE!!! Get a load of his tribute to Levenda in the comment section under Dana's latest vid... where Levenda is such an honest person - totally on the up and up, and a gentleman to boot! Is anyone really that dense in real life???

    2. I think he's a very smart man, actually. I just sometimes question his true intentions. Maybe one day he could give us all a summary of his life story. I am certain it would be incredibly entertaining, LOL. I just find the man a bit enigmatic, which I guess keeps things interesting...You might say this entire Son of Sam case and things related to it are a bit interesting and enigmatic too. I love this blog, by the way. Onwards and Upwards, as they say!

  4. I would love for Eric to do a bio on himself. He seems to be a very interesting man.
